The LSC believes that third sector organisations excel in accessing social groups often under-represented in the workforce, and has asked SEL to reach out to disaffected young Londoners and match them with social enterprises.
The new apprentices will be employed for the duration of their formal training, which will lead to a qualification. This activity will increase their skills-base and give them valuable experience of working in an ethical/community business.

The NVQ will be delivered in the workplace in partnership with the employer/line manager by a qualified assessor, or on the premises of learning provider in accordance with the demands of the qualification.
