Business Development Manager
Catriona is the Business Development Manager at SEL and joined SEL with professional experience in the fields of environmental management, international development, organisational development and community engagement. In her role at SEL, Catriona has project managed and delivered consultancy support to a variety of third sector organisations, including NGOs, voluntary organisations and social enterprises across the housing, environment, education, food, fair trade, BAME and creative arts sectors across the UK. She has delivered training and advice to NGOs and advisers as part of the British Council Vietnam’s social enterprise programme in Vietnam, Croatia and Georgia.
Catriona previously worked for 2 years with World Vision International on global strategic and organisational design projects that focused on developing new operating models for efficient and effective working. She also spent 4 years working for World Vision UK at a programming level, with NGO partners in Latin America and the Caribbean. This role included: designing and supporting microenterprise development; training in community development; and providing project management and strategic support. Prior to this, Catriona worked for 6 years as an environmental consultant with the RPS Group on environmental impact assessment and liability projects across the UK. Catriona holds a BA (Hons) in Geography from University of Strathclyde, and an MSc in Land Resource Management from Cranfield University. She is a Member of the Chartered Management Institute, and the Institute of Leadership and Management; and an Associate of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment.
