Lobbying and Strategy

Social Enterprise London is the leading lobbying voice for the social enterprise movement in London.

As well as our extensive programme of policy and research, SEL's Chief Executive Allison Ogden-Newton sits on the influential Women's Enterprise Task Force, a national body set up by Gordon Brown in 2006 to champion women's enterprise to increase the quantity, scalability and success of women-owned businesses in the UK.

Allison is also Deputy-Chair of ACEVO, the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations, which connects, develops and represents the third sector's leaders.
