General procurement

Through a programme of three hour workshops this theme aims to meet the challenge of social enterprises entering in to procurement contracts head on, covering specifically:

• understanding procurement practices
• understanding the tendering process
• the skills required to start bidding
• planning and managing the expected workload
• policy development and implementation: including health and safety and diversity and equality. 

Supporting these workshops will be a series of networking and group learning sessions to share case studies, as well as a number of ‘meet the buyer’ events.
