The role that central and local government plays in instigating policy change is a key issue for SEL's Policy and Research (P&R) team.
At SEL, we are continually involved in policy debates and work with decision makers and third sector stakeholders to ensure that policy reflects the needs of social enterprises. We also conduct research and create a platform for disseminating in-house and sector findings to demonstrate the active role played by social enterprise in the Capital.
Some of the key projects that the P&R team works on include LA Connects, the London Social Economy Taskforce, the Performance Measurement Tool, the Social Enterprise Journal and also a project to provide Bangladeshi women in Camden with access to social enterprise. Details about these projects are provided here.
