1) Introduction
These terms and conditions govern your use of our website, including registration to the SEL Network, training courses and events.
2) Registration for the SEL Network
By registering for the network, you are agreeing to receiving regular information from SEL including news and upcoming events by email. Should you wish to unsubscribe you can contact SEL via info@sel.org.uk.
Please note that the information collected during the registration process and annual renewal is to enable us to provide information to help us support and lobby for the social enterprise sector. This information will be kept on record and used by Social Enterprise London and our subsidiary, Beehive Promotions Ltd. It will not be shared with third parties other than in aggregated form about the social enterprise sector, or as information for our funders.
SEL reserves the right to reject applications for registration or renewal.
3) Full Membership
Organisations and individuals registering for the SEL Network as full members are subject to the same terms and conditions as free registration but with additional benefits for an annual subscription charge of £50+VAT. SEL reserves the right to review and amend these benefits.
4) Training course and events
Once we have processed your booking we will send you a confirmation email. Payment must be made within 14 days or in advance of the training course , whichever is sooner.
SEL will make every effort to accommodate special requirements that have been notified when booking.
If you notify SEL in writing or via email up to 10 working days prior to the start of the course 50% of the course fee will be refunded. If you do not attend or withdraw within the 10 day period the full fee will remain payable . In the event of a course being cancelled, a refund of the course fee will be made but no compensation will be paid for any additional costs incurred.
Liability : SEL does not accept responsibility for anyone acting as a result of information or views expressed on its training courses including course material. Opinions expressed are those of individual trainers and not necessarily those of SEL. Participants should take professional advice when dealing with specific situations.
5) Payment methods
Payment can be made by:
- The SEL website via Paypal
- BACS to Beehive Promotions Ltd, Sort Code 08-92-99, Account number 69007332
- Cheque made payable to Beehive Promotions Ltd
All fees are subject to VAT unless otherwise stated.
6) Licence to use website
Unless otherwise stated, we or our licensors own the intellectual property rights in the website and material on the website. Subject to the licence below, all these intellectual property rights are reserved.
You may view, download for caching purposes only, and print pages from the website for your own personal use, subject to the restrictions set out below and elsewhere in these terms and conditions.
You must not:
(a) republish material from this website (including republication on another website);
(b) sell, rent or sub-license material from the website;
(c) show any material from the website in public, without accreditation of the source
(d) reproduce, duplicate, copy or otherwise exploit material on our website for a commercial purpose;
