A practical, half day introduction to outcomes and impact assessment
The session will include:
- The identification of different tools and approaches which can be used to demonstrate an organisation’s value and when it is most appropriate to use the tools.
- Introduction to one of the approaches, SIMPLE, developed by Social Enterprise London and the University of Brighton, to look at social outcome assessment and how it can be applied to your own organisation:
- undertaking a light touch strategic review of your organisation in order to understand where it is best able to make social impact
- mapping out the processes through which impact is created
- designing indicators with which to collect evidence of positive outcomes
- considering how to embed a monitoring process into your organisation’s operations
The training is practical and encourages action based learning to apply the methodology to your own organisational context, as well as learning from examples and peers.
