SEL’s acclaimed Understanding Social Enterprise course is accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management and SFEDI. Course dates are as follows:
Day 1 = 6th December 2011
Day 2 = 5th January 2012
Day 3 = 7th February 2012
USE gives you the tools to examine whether an organisation is suited to the social enterprise model; evaluate the organisational and legal structures of social enterprises; evaluate the financial arrangements of social enterprises and to identify support needs and sources of support for social enterprise
Aimed at business advisers, consultants, development workers, project officers, managers and other professionals who are working with or for social enterprises, the programme is endorsed by SFEDI as meeting its Social Enterprise Support Standards. It is also accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) as a nationally recognised VRQ Level 5 Award. The workshops provide participants with the analytical tools they need in order to understand how social enterprises function.
